Dessert Museum: Yummy Instagram Treat

My friends and I decided to try the new museum that has been going around the Filipino social media for the past few months- The Dessert Museum. Located at the ground floor of S Maison, Conrad Hotel, this museum is a dream come true to all sweet-tooth lovers out there! Instagrammable shots + yummy treats - definitely the best way to bond with your besties.

The museum is composed with eight mouthwatering sugar-filled rooms that you can explore and enjoy for the maximum of 30 minutes. Visitors are divided into group that are guided by coordinators to ensure smooth traffic flow. Though I think 30 minutes was rather short to enjoy the place, honestly. Desserts are given per room, so atleast my tummy is happy :)

RAINING DONUTS ROOM

The first room literally screamed donuts. Upon entrance, there was this big donut afronted by a yummy-looking pink slide. There were floating donuts everywhere and the signature donut wall. No donut freebies in this room though.

ROOM OF TEN THOUSAND MARSHMALLOWS

A marshmallow-themed haven to all marshmallow lovers out there. Who wouldn't enjoy posing with these mallow raindrops and get a mallow treat  after?

CANDY CANE GROOVES

Cherry and mint flavored candy canes, gumdrops - this room gives me a toothache just by looking at it! Kidding aside, This room is probably the biggest among the other eight with many instagrammable shots to offer.  I am pretty sure we weren't able to fully explore the other sections of this room; all the more reason to come visit again.

ICECREAM ROOM

I think this room is UP inspired, from the disney movie, which makes this room even more awesome. I love ice cream in general so I liked this room. Even more so when they gave us free ice creams!

COTTON CANDY FOREST

My personal favorite- the fluffyness of this room is beyond happiness! This room is a forest-themed cotton candy wonderland that allows you to walk through sweetness as you  partake you own free cotton candy!

THE LAND OF GIANT GUMMIES

Life-sized gummy bears anyone? This room is as cozy as a cuddly gummy bear - very comforting. If only these giant gummy bears were edible, hihi.

CAKE POP CARNIVAL

The most colorful area - the final room is decorated with cake pops of various sizes and flavors. Seriously, I think I was tempted to eat cake during our stay in this room. Being the final room, it didnt satisfy the sabe the best for last feel. The other side of this area is the souvenir shop where you can buy Dessert Museum items at your discretion.

VERDICT

The whole experience was sugar-filled and colorful indeed. Kudos to the museum's designers and staff behind this masterpiece. This museum is definitely a dream come true to us, ‘sweet tooths’. As a first time visitor, here are some of my thought during the experience:

✔ 30 minutes was rather short to enjoy the room.

✔ During our experience, there were times when two groups are in one room. I think this should be avoided so that the visitors can fully enjoy the room

✔ The price is rather high for two-hours of experience. (But I do take into consideration the location of the museum)

✔ I wish there were more free desserts. A guilt-free request from a greedy visitor haha!

✔ I hope they have price discounts for groups

Would I try it again? Yes, definitely, but probably on a later date and with discounted prices.
